Areana, Sand 3D printing

A visionary system on new methods of automated construction at remote areas with material found on site (sand abundance)

ARE(A)NA produces building structures out of solidified sand, directly on site. After a CNC controlled process of sand collection and re-distribution, a liquid binder is poured on these robot-generated sand formations.

Given that only where there is binder gets solidified, the rest of the sand acts as a temporal scaffold. When the loose sand is removed, inhabitable spaces appear magically on the ground.
